About Meghan Aileen Conroy, M.D.
Meghan Conroy, M.D. is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychiatry at Weill Cornell Medicine, and an Assistant Attending Psychiatrist on the Adolescent Psychiatric Inpatient Unit and the Child and Adolescent Outpatient Clinic at NewYork-Presbyterian Westchester Behavioral Health Center. She also has an outpatient faculty practice accepting child, adolescent, and adult patients. Dr. Conroy specializes in the comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of a wide range of psychiatric disorders. She has expertise in both psychotherapy and psychopharmacology. Given her additional training in child and adolescent psychiatry, she uses a developmental lens in treating her patients. She provides individualized care in collaboration with patients and families using a compassionate, holistic approach.
Dr. Conroy completed her undergraduate education at the College of Mount Saint Vincent, where she graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in Biology. She was awarded the Trustee Scholarship to attend New York Medical College where she received her medical degree. She completed her residency training in general psychiatry at NewYork-Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center. She then pursued a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at the NewYork-Presbyterian combined program of Cornell and Columbia Universities. She served as one of the chief residents during the final year of her fellowship training. She has additional training in Trauma and Panic-Focused Psychodynamic Psychotherapy. She has an interest in physician wellness and has provided a Stress Management and Resiliency Training for Residents course to both child and adolescent psychiatry and pediatric residents. As an Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychiatry at Weill Cornell Medicine, she supervises trainees on the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Inpatient and Outpatient Services at the Westchester Behavioral Health Center.
