Personal Statement

Cancer care is an interdisciplinary effort and achieving the best possible outcome requires a great deal of teamwork. Creating a treatment plan is a complex process and I believe that the patient is an important member of the team. As cancer treatment is not just about staging and diagnosis, my goal is to listen to each of my patients and learn as much as I can about each individual, so that together, we can create an comprehensive and personalized treatment plan. I want my patients and prospective patients to know that I want to work with you to understand your specific goals of care and to maximize your quality of life during treatment.

It is an exciting time to practice medicine in the field of hematology and oncology. We have been able to treat patients with more personalized approaches thanks to incredible progress in genomics, molecular biology and therapeutics over the last few decades. Let’s work together to find the best way to approach your care and treatment.
