About Fan Jim Yang, M.D.
Dr. Jim Yang is the Assistant Director of Quality Assurance and Patient Safety in the Department of Emergency Medicine. He is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Emergency Medicine and an attending physician at New York Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center and New York Presbyterian Lower Manhattan Hospital. He earned his medical degree from Rush University Medical College in Chicago, IL. Dr. Yang completed his residency training at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine- Jacobi/Montefiore Medical Center and is board-certified in emergency medicine. He subsequently completed fellowship training in healthcare leadership and operations at NYU Langone Health and holds an MBA from the NYU Stern School of Business.
