About Ashley Brissette, MD, MSc, FRCSC

I am a cataract surgery specialist and offer the most advanced techniques for surgery including laser assisted surgery and advanced technology lens implants. I am also an expert in vision correction such as LASIK, PRK, and EVO.
Dr Brissette is one of New York Citys leading ophthalmologists and cataract surgery experts. She has been voted by her patients and peers as a New York City Super Doctor many years in a row. She is also the ophthalmologist for the New York Rangers (NHL) hockey team. Dr. Brissette is a spokesperson for the American Academy of Ophthalmology and has been featured by many media outlets for her expert opinion. She is an active and accomplished researcher and is frequently invited to lecture both nationally and internationally about cataract surgery and laser vision correction. Dr. Brissette is double board certified by both the American Board of Ophthalmology and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (her home country but is a proud New Yorker and member of the Weill Cornell Ophthalmology team).
