Personal Statement

I believe in a patient centered approach to healthcare. It is important that my patients feel informed about and involved in their healthcare issues and treatment goals as much as possible. While I strongly believe in an evidence based approach to practicing medicine, I understand that people are individuals, and health and wellness is not one size fits all. As a proponent of preventative medicine, I strongly encourage my patients to take control of their own health by making better lifestyle choices, including diet, exercise, stress management, and safer sex practices to name a few.
