What Our Patients Are Saying
Absolutely loved meeting Dr. Merianos. Extremely informational, educated and professional. I appreciated his honest opinion towards my daughter's health. It's hard to find physicians who truly care about the person's wellbeing and advise on more natural routes rather than getting a procedure or surgery done. The overall staff was just amazing as well, super friendly, patient and thoughtful. Thank you so much!
I just wanted to write and express my gratitude for your great treatment. Please know how very deeply I appreciate your willingness to repeat the surgical procedures. You are truly exceptional in your desire to please your patients. Please accept my heartfelt thanks for all you have done for my baby. My baby had jejunal atresia and doctor Merianos did surgery for her. Dr Merianos, my baby is healthy and happy thanks to you.
Our baby girl was born on August 2023, and soon after, was diagnosticated with Biliary Atresia with Splenic Malformation Syndrome (BASM), which was adjacent to Hererotaxy Syndrome. The liver team at Weill-Cornell New York Presbyterian recommended a Kasai procedure to be performed before the end of first month of life, in the hands of Dr. Dimitri Merianos. Right after the confirmation of the date for surgery, Dr. Merianos reached out to us and with an outstanding empatic approach, without loosing objectivity, explained to us in great detail the characteristics of the procedure and the possible outcomes. Prior and after surgery (which included the Kasai Procedure, LADD Procedure, Gallbladder and Apendix removal) Dr. Merianos was always available for consultations and in several occasions even made first contact to let us know how everything was developing. Our baby Adri is now two months old and we’re extremely grateful for the professionalism and kindness of Dr. Merianos.
