Personal Statement

Medicine is rapidly advancing from the era of traditions to the era of translational research and evidence-based medicine. I have been fortunate to have trained in world-class medical institutions and have worked with leaders in the field of cardiovascular medicine. I have trained in cardiovascular medicine, preventative and interventional cardiology. In the HeartHealth Program, my goal is to work with a team of dedicated, hardworking individuals to promote personalized preventative strategies for lowering risk of developing cardiovascular disease. I have a particular interest in the noninvasive imaging evaluation of atherosclerosis and structural heart disease, and hope to be a catalyst in the integration of such a modality as part of a comprehensive evaluation at our practice.
