Biography

Sri Hari Sundararajan M.D. is a an Assistant Professor of Radiology at Weill Cornell Medicine and an Assistant Attending Radiologist at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center. He is a board-certified radiologist, member of the emergency imaging division, and an adjunct member of the interventional radiology division.   

Dr. Sundararajan earned his B.S. from Drexel University in 2007 where he was the founder and President of Beta Beta Beta Biological Honors Society Omega Sigma Chapter. He earned his M.D. from SUNY Downstate Medical Center in 2011, where he also completed the Clinical Neurosciences Pathway program. This was followed by an internship in Internal Medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital, where he earned the recognition as Preliminary Medicine Intern of the Year. Dr. Sundararajan completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and served as Chief Resident during his final year of training. He then completed his fellowship trainings in Diagnostic Neuroradiology at Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center.

Dr. Sundararajan was recruited to join the full-time faculty at Weill Cornell Medicine's Department of Radiology in 2018. Dr. Sundararajan has developed clinical expertise in emergency imaging and performs a wide variety of exams in MRI, CT, ultrasound, and x-ray.

Given his combined training in Neuroradiology and Interventional Radiology, Dr. Sundararajan's clinical and research interests include attention to the management of head/neck and general body vascular malformations, as well as, image-guided spinal-axis procedures.

In addition to clinical and research activities, Dr. Sundararajan is an active and involved teacher of residents, fellows, and medical students. In his spare time, he likes to play a percussion instrument called the 'Mirudangam'.
