WCM Network Physician (What is this?)

Personal Statement

I was trained as a scientist, but learned early in life I would prefer working with people, so I chose to be a doctor. The satisfaction in my work comes from the relationships I've developed over the 20 years I've practiced in Brooklyn.  The diversity of our community brings amazing people into my office every day.  Understanding each person's individual story is critical for knowing how to be effective during times of good health and during times of illness.  I am privileged and grateful to bear witness and participate meaningfully in the lives of my patients, who have taught me so much over the years.
