Dr. Parmanand Singh earned his medical doctorate from Harvard Medical School, and is the Director of Nuclear Cardiology and Co-Director of Cardiac PET at Weill Cornell Medicine.

Prior to medical school, he received his bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from New York University and attended Phillips Andover Academy for high school. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Weill Cornell Medicine, where he also served as an assistant chief resident. Dr. Singh completed general cardiology fellowship at Hofstra North Shore Hospital, with a focus on cardiac imaging including Transthoracic and Transesophageal Echocardiography, and Nuclear Cardiology. Thereafter, he further honed his multimodal imaging skills as an advanced imaging post-doc at Harvard Medical School/Massachusetts General Hospital, where he gained clinical and research expertise in cardiac CT, MRI and PET. He was also the recipient of numerous awards from Harvard Medical School and American College of Cardiology. Following this training, Dr. Singh joined the Weill Medical Medicine in July 2014 as a full-time faculty member. Dr. Singh conducts clinical and non-invasive imaging research on the role of inflammation and biomechanics on aortic aneurysms in patients with Marfan Syndrome. He has received funding from the Marfan Foundation and American Heart Association. Dr. Singh is also the recipient of a prestigious K23 award from the National Institutes of Health.

Dr. Singh is dual-appointed in the Division of Cardiology and Department of Radiology at Weill Cornell Medicine-New York Presbyterian Hospital. He practices General Cardiology, Nuclear Cardiology, Transthoracic and Transesophageal Echocardiography. Dr. Singh also treats patients with coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, hypertension and other general cardiology conditions. He is also integral to the education of medical students, medical residents and cardiology fellows.
