Dr. Asaly received his M.D. degree from the State University of New York (SUNY) Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY.  He completed residency training in Emergency Medicine at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania as well as an Emergency Ultrasound Fellowship at New York University’s Department of Emergency Medicine.

Dr. Asaly practices emergency medicine at both NYP-Weill Cornell Medical Center and NYP-Lower Manhattan Hospital.  Prior to joining Weill Cornell Medicine, he was an attending physician at NYU/Bellevue Hospital. He also holds an academic appointment as an instructor in clinical medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College and has previously held the position of clinical instructor at New York University School of Medicine.
