Personal Statement

In my opinion, epilepsy and seizures take away patients' sense of control over themselves and their environment. My hope is to help patients reclaim a little bit of that sense of control, whether that is with medications or with potential surgical options. I also believe epilepsy, like any disease process, is more frightening or stressful, when patients have unanswered questions, so I strive to listen to the best of my abilities and to answer whatever questions you may have during the visit and even after you leave.
