Pathology - Anatomic

About
Personal Statement
Cytopathology continues to grow and expand as deeper seated lesions are easier to access, and novel diagnostic and prognostic tests such as molecular analysis can be performed off cytology material.
With a healthcare environment focused on cost containment, more information is expected to be divulged with less tissue as quickly as possible, emphasizing the critical role of cytopathology. I am passionate about my appointment in Papanicolaou Laboratory of Weill Cornell Medicine Pathology Department where I serve my patients, contribute to the advancement and knowledge in this field through research; and teach residents, fellows and medical students the information that has been passed on me by my mentors. I am fortunate to be a part of this organization with a robust clinical service and strong mentorship, and the ability to work on projects that advances the knowledge in this field.
