Biographical Info

Dr. Berlin serves as Medical Director for Critical Care Services at NewYork-Presbyterian-Weill Cornell Medicine.  

After receiving his M.D. from Mount Sinai School of Medicine in 1996, Dr. Berlin completed residency training in Internal Medicine at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center and a fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at Weill Cornell Medicine. He is a Professor of Clinical Medicine in the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine.

Dr. Berlin’s main research interest is the application of cardio-pulmonary physiology to patient care.
