Personal Statement

Patient advocacy is truly what drew me to primary care. Synthesizing complex and often conflicting medical information and advice can be overwhelming for patients and their family members. I believe primary care plays a crucial role in distilling medical information from multiple sources so patients can really feel in control of their care. Learning about each person's unique story is vital to help realize individual goals. It is also what I find so appealing and invigorating about being a primary care practitioner.
