Personal Statement

As a physician I am first and foremost a health and lifestyle advocate for my patients. I am a firm believer in patient education to improve quality of life. I believe a large majority of disease burden is caused by poor diets, stress, and a lack of effective communication and understanding between the patient and healthcare professionals. I provide a comprehensive care approach that uses advanced knowledge in cardiovascular disease with an integrative and empathetic care philosophy focused on education, nutrition, mindfulness, and respect for the individual. My goal is to develop individualized care plans for patients that fit their lifestyles and improve their quality of life. I welcome patients of all backgrounds and preferences.
