Dr. Amanda S. Carmel received her medical degree from the Columbia College of Physicians & Surgeons in 2004 and completed her Internal Medicine Residency training program at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital (Weill Cornell Campus) in 2007. Upon completion of her training, Dr. Carmel joined the Weill Cornell Internal Medicine Associates practice. She sees patients at the Long Island City Community Practice. Dr. Carmel has an interest in womenÂs health issues and is actively engaged in research in Osteoporosis. She is the recipient of the prestigious Hoar Family Fellowship for research in Osteoporosis from the New York Academy of Medicine.
