About Renu Chawla Mital, M.D.
Dr. Renu Mital is a board certified Emergency Physician and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine. Dr. Mital graduated from Northeastern Ohio University College of Medicine and then trained for two years in Orthopedic Surgery followed by an Emergency Medicine Residency at Summa Health Systems in Ohio. Dr. Mital has been an Attending Physician at New York Presbyterian Hospital for 12 years since 1998.
Dr. Mital has a particular interest in Emergency Orthopedics and enjoys lecturing to residents and has taught in India as part of a Disaster Drill and Ultrasound course in Ahmedbad, Gujarat. Dr. Mitals has also published a chapter on wrist and forearm injuries in the last version of Emergency Radiology.
