Today, medical devices, such as wheelchairs, respirators and infusion pumps, are often used at home,enabling people with medical conditions to lead full, active lives.
However, consumers using them face many challenges, sometimes including difficulty understanding the instructions. FDA is working to make these devices safer to use, including helping consumers get access to clearer instructions.
