Susan Miller, M.D.

Susan Miller, M.D. is Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Weill Cornell Medical College and Assistant Attending Pediatrician at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. She is board certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine and in Pediatrics. She is also a certified Neonatal Resuscitation Program Instructor.
 
She received her B.A. in Psychology from the State University of New York at Buffalo, graduating magna cum laude. She remained at the State University of New York at Buffalo to complete her medical degree at SUNY’s School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences and her residency in Pediatrics at Children’s Hospital of Buffalo.
 
In 2005, Dr. Miller completed a Fellowship in Neonatology at the University of Washington School of Medicine, during which time she worked as a staff physician on the Infant Ground Transport Team at Children’s Hospital and Regional Medical Center in Seattle.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Miller is an active participant in medical education and training. At SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York, she has served as a Pediatric Resident Advisor and Residency Program Division Director for Neonatalogy.

Her research interests include iron status and the zinc protoporphyrin to heme ratio in the preterm infant.
