Margaret Yoon, M.D.
Margaret J. Yoon, MD is a Child and Adolescent psychiatrist specializing in the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of psychiatric disorders in children and adults. She is available for diagnostic consultations, psychopharmacologic treatment and psychotherapy with children and adults, and has a special interest in multigenerational family work.
Dr. Yoon grew up in New York City, received her B.A. degree with honors from Harvard University and her M.D. degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. She completed her residency in general adult psychiatry at the Cambridge Health Alliance program in Massachusetts, and completed her fellowship training in child and adolescent psychiatry at the Massachusetts General Hospital/McLean Hospital.Dr. Yoon has also trained in family therapy and college/university mental health at Harvard-affiliated programs.
Dr. Yoon is an inpatient and outpatient Consultation Liaison psychiatrist to Pediatrics at the NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital at Weill Cornell and faculty in the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.Her outpatient practice is available by appointment for consultations, psychopharmacology, and individual and family psychotherapy.
