Garrett Desman, M.D.
Dr. Garrett Desman is the newest member of the Dermatopathology Team at Weill Cornell Medical College. He received his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in Ohio. He completed residency training in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City. He went on to complete two fellowships in Anatomic Pathology; first in Oncological Surgical Pathology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center followed by a Dermatopathology fellowship at the combined Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center & New York Presbyterian Hospital program. He is board certified in Anatomic & Clinical Pathology with subspecialty board certification in Dermatopathology. Before joining the faculty at Weill Cornell Medical College, he was Director of Immunohistochemistry and a Staff Dermatopathologist at Laboratory of Dermatopathology in Port Washington, NY. His current research interests are focused on adnexal neoplasia and malignant melanoma
