Dr. Lin was raised in Los Angeles, California. She received her undergraduate degree from Harvard University and her medical degree from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She obtained an MSc in epidemiology at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. She completed her internship and residency at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center in New York and her Cardiology Fellowship at Weill-Cornell Medical Center.
