Alexis E. Te, M.D.
I am the Director of the Brady Prostate Center and am an active investigator in numerous minimally invasive therapies for the enlarged prostate. Our center provides a uniquely comprehensive experience in evaluating, managing and treating all types of prostate problems including benign prostatic hyperplasia, prostatitis and prostate cancer. The center provides all of the state of the art technologies and is one of a few centers that is experienced in providing the full range of minimally invasive treatments ranging from Lasers to Microwave Thermotherapy as well as all available standard treatments. The center is actively investigating and providing new treatment options in the numerous clinical trials for patients with BPH and other prostate problems.

Dr. Alexis E. Te is a Professor of Urology at the Weill Medical College at Cornell University, the Director of the Brady Prostate Center, as well as Co-Director of Urodynamics & an Attending Urologist in the Department of Urology at New York-Presbyterian Hospital.
Dr. Te received his medical degree from Weill Medical College at Cornell University and completed his urology residency training at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center, both in New York City. He continued his training by completing a fellowship in neurourology and urodynamics at the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University with Dr. Steven A. Kaplan. Dr. Te remained on the faculty and became a leader in the development of new techniques for treatment of benign prostatic disorders in men as well as the evaluation and treatment of incontinence in men and women. He continues his motivation in research in areas such as Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH), Therapies in BPH, Incontinence, Prostatis, Neurourology & Urodynamics, Female Urology, Interstitial Cystitis, Laser Surgery, and Prostate Cancer.
Dr. Te maintains memberships in11 professional organizations, is a Fellow in The New York Academy of Medicine, currently holds editorial responsibilities with 10 professional/scholarly journals, and has consistently been ranked as a top physician in Super Docs (2008, 2009, 2010), Castle Connelly: Best Doctor in NY Metro Area – Urology (2007, 2008, 2009, 2010), and Best Doctors in America Database (2009, 2010).
