Hospitalists are medical professionals whose primary focus is caring for patients staying in the hospital with complex conditions. They establish continuity of care among specialists and the patient's primary care physicians. Research shows that hospitalists can improve the quality of care and patient satisfaction and reduce the length of stay.
Our pediatric hospitalists may also work at NewYork-Presbyterian Lower Manhattan Hospital.
