Personal Statement

Dr. Pan specializes in treating individuals with pulmonary diseases and critical illnesses. His research is centered on investigating modifiable risk factors and interventions that can prevent the development of critical illness, as well as improve functional outcomes in individuals who have recovered from the intensive care unit (ICU). He applies a wide range of healthcare and clinical data to obtain insights via data science techniques. Additionally, he has received fellowship training in healthcare simulation, which he integrates into patient care, research, and medical education.
