Ashley Storrs, M.D.
Ashley K. Storrs, M.D. is an Instructor in Psychiatry in the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Weill Cornell Medical College and an attending psychiatrist for the New York Presbyterian Hospital. She teaches and supervises child psychiatry fellows. She is currently providing inpatient care on the Adolescent Inpatient Unit at New York Presbyterian Westchester. Dr. Storrs is board certified in both general psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry. She has a private practice that is available for diagnostic evaluations and psychopharmacology of children, adolescents and adults. In addition, she provides individual psychotherapy of children, adolescents and adults. Dr. Storrs is skilled in each of these areas and works diligently to partner with her patients and their families.
Dr. Storrs is a graduate of the University of Michigan where she completed a bachelor’s of science in psychology. She received her medical degree from Pritzker Medical School at the University of Chicago. She completed her general psychiatry residency at the Menninger Department of Psychiatry at Baylor College of Medicine. She went on to complete her child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at Boston Children’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School.
She specializes in providing comprehensive care to variety of populations including adolescents and young adults that have difficulty transitioning to adulthood, parenting difficulties, ADHD, OCD and mood disorders. Her private practice is available by appointment only.
