Personal Statement

Dr. Matilda Wissner is a supervisor of Audiology in the Hearing and Speech Center, Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, at Weill Cornell Medicine, New York-Presbyterian Hospital. She received her Au.D. in Audiology from A.T. Still University, her MS degree from CUNY Hunter, and is certified in Audiology (CCC-A) through the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA). She is licensed in Audiology through the New York State Department of Education and holds a hearing aid license through the New York State Department of State.

Biographical Info

Dr. Wissner has been affiliated with New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medicine since 2015. She is responsible for the coordination of the audiology student program and daily services as part of the Hearing and Speech Center. Her clinical expertise is in the area of pediatric and adult assessment of hearing, including audiometry, auditory evoked potentials, as well as balance function assessment and management of amplification.
